Daffodils!!!!!

Woohoo!!!! Daffodils is being contracted!!!! I'm doing the happy dance!!!! YAY!!!

Margaret Ellington and Lukas North have a history to resolve. He's determined to reclaim the love he threw away ten years earlier, while she is fearful of her heart being broken again by her first love.

So when the past repeats itself, can there be a different outcome?

Calm the storm

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full

And He was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow; and they awake
Him, and say unto Him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace; be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And He said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith?

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, what manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?
Mark 4:37 - 41

Are we fearful? He can calm any storm in our lives and give us peace.

How is your faith today?

Happy New Year

Well, here we are, 2011, and what an auspicious beginning it is.

As you all know I submitted Daffodils in December, no definite news yet, but it does look promising. I've already been asked for a rewrite because of the growing season of daffodils. And yes, I did research this as I wrote the story, but I tried to stretch things a bit too far. Those poor daffodils that my character planted in September would never have survived.

See, it's all in the details. Hopefully I'm a much better writer than gardener!

So what else is in store for 2011 you ask? Well, does anyone remember the story A Piece of Heaven? the story that started right here on my blog? Yup, that one is finished and waiting in the wings. Ready to submit once I know the fate of Daffodils. And guess what...I'm starting the sequel for A Piece of Heaven tonight.

Oh, and then there's "the doggy story," as my daughter named it. That one's due for a rewrite so I can get it re-submitted. It's been sitting waiting for quite some time. I'll be working on that soon.

So keep in touch! I'm hoping to have lots of good news for you here this year. So keep writing and reading. You never know where God will plant inspiration for you - or a message you might need.

God bless you all in this precious New Year!
