Time and Talent

Well, I failed and missed a week already. Okay, I'm dusting my hands off and here we go again. All I can do is try.

Can you believe how quickly the year is going by. Already the 4th of July is here! Next thing you know it will be Christmas again with all that white stuff! (If you don't get snow wherever you live, you don't know what you're missing. I'm sure there are a lot of us that would be willing to donate some...)

Well, I hope that thought cooled a few of you off. With the diversity in weather areas, you would never know that some of us are in the same country even. For all you in the southwest I hope that little blurb about snow cooled you off. That's quite a heat wave you have going. And well, up here in the Northeast we've forgotten what the sun looks like. "What big yellow ball in the sky?" we ask.

Regardless of where you are and what it's like outside, I hope you're busy writing, or singing, or pursuing whatever talent God has gifted you with. There is no greater joy than serving Him with the gifts He has given!

  1. Hello Donna, just popping in to thank you for your lovely comment on Sharons Blog, so glad you enjoyed the excerpt and I wish you well with your own writing.

I do agree about how quickly the year is flying past. In the UK, it's been grey and showery the last few days, with no sign of the 'heatwave' we were promised (Ah, now they've retracted that so it looks like the usual British summer!) This year we had some snow in February. I love the stuff. I know it's a nuisance and even a danger in some places but in the village where I live, it was just pretty!
